In Loving Memory of Gary Rodriguez

Gary Christopher Rodriguez, 64, passed away on March 25, 2024.  He was the loving husband of Judi Rodriguez. They shared 9 years of marriage and 11 years of partnership together at their home in Gilbert, AZ with their dogs Rocky and Millie.

He was born in West Los Angeles in 1959 to Gilbert and Amelia Rodriguez.  Gary attended Los Angeles University High School, and St. Timothy Catholic School. He then attended Black Fox Military Academy and continued on to work at the Casa Rodriguez Mexican Restaurant in the 70’s, local grocery store Royal Market, and Mutual of Omaha in the late 70’s early 80’s. He then had the honor to enter the family real estate business with his father in 1987.

Our Miracle Man, as doctors called him, was an avid Beatles fan, loved sports cars, and old movies. He was always the life of the party and had a smile to share. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and especially his laugh.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Amelia Rodriguez, and his sister Corinne Planeta.  

He is survived by his wife, Judi, his son, Gilbert Rodriguez (Austin), his sisters Charlene Hitz (Court), and Christine Drevo (David) , his stepdaughter Jennifer Carlson (Tanner) and their son Bo, his stepson Michael Schlickman, and many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. 

The memorial service will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Falconer Funeral Home 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ 85233.  The funeral will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 9:00am with interment at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1562 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, AZ 85204.
