In Loving Memory of Susan B. May

Susan Bishop May, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away on March 21, 2024 in Gilbert, Arizona. She was born on January 28, 1941 in Findlay, Ohio to Wanda Louise Bishop and Paul Bishop. Susan's passing has left an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew her.

Susan found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and making cherished memories with her children and grandchildren. Her sons Tim, Todd and Tyler were the center of her world, and she poured boundless love into their lives. Her grandchildren Crystal, Addison, Halli, Chelsea, Tyler, Tristan, Tony, and Joey brought immeasurable happiness to Susan's life; she adored each one of them beyond measure.

Her thoughtfulness knew no bounds; she was known for extending hospitality to all who crossed her path. Whether it was through a kind word or a warm embrace at family gatherings or holiday celebrations - Susan made everyone feel welcome and loved.

She had an innate sense of style that always shone through in every outfit she wore – elegant yet approachable – reflecting the grace with which she carried herself throughout life.

Amongst countless other things that will be remembered about Susan is her culinary prowess. Her grandchildren will forever cherish the memory of their grandmother’s amazing chili con queso as well as homemade macaroni & cheese from the box! These dishes were not just meals but expressions of love that brought joy to all who tasted them.

In addition to being survived by Todd and Tyler along with her grandchildren including Crystal, Addison, Halli, Chelsea, Tyler, Tristan, Tony & Joey; Susan leaves behind cousins Claudia, Tom, Bob, Ed, and Dale. Susan was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert May and son, Timothy May.

A celebration of life will be held on April 6th at 3pm at the home of Susan’s son Tyler where friends and family can gather together to honor this remarkable woman's legacy.
