Obituary of John Chiappetta

John Chiappetta, passed away December 20, 2023.

4/8/1945 -12/20/2023. He was 78 years of age at his passing.

Son of John F. Chiappetta and Constance Chiappetta, he was born on April 8, 1945, in New London, Connecticut. He graduated from Culver Military Academy where he rode in the black horse troop in JFK’s inaugural parade. He got his Bachelor's in Business from the University of Arizona and retired from Levitz Furniture where he truly found a team-like family. After retirement, he worked part-time at Berg Ford and drove school buses to keep himself busy. During his life, he traveled and visited many faraway lands.

He is survived by a sister, his ex-wife the mother of his daughter, his daughter, his son-in-law, his two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

John was a deeply beloved father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend.

While John’s passing is a loss to all who knew him as he was a kind and witty man with a great sense of humor, instead of being sad about our loss we will celebrate the life of John and all the fun times we had with him.
