In Loving Memory of  Lavonne W. Blalack

Lavonne W. Blalack passed away July 6, 2023 in Mesa, AZ. She was born April 22, 1920 in Wichita, KS. Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Blalack and son, Richard E. Blalack. She is survived by daughter, Marilee (Phil) Muir, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

 At 103 years old, she was still very active, enjoying gardening, sewing, crochet and baking. We will miss her pies! She loved watching sports. Her favorites were the Suns, Cardinals, Diamond Backs and Golf (never hit a ball herself).  Lavonne and Charles were part of the original founding families who mortgaged their homes to start Trinity Baptist Church in Mesa, AZ.  Mom loved reading her Bible every night and was faithful to pray for everyone.  Family was always at the top of her list.

She is home now with her Heavenly Father.  We will miss her greatly, but know we will see her again someday.
