Obituary of Wayne Evan Haus

                         Wayne Evan Haus          May 21 1955 -June 3 2023

He Touched lightly on earth with love and spirit shining through the shadows

Wayne was born in Paterson New Jersey on May 21 1955 to Marilyn Levy Haus and Joseph Benjamin Haus.

Wayne’s grandparents were Jews seeking sanctuary from persecution and poverty in eastern Europe . They settled in New York City and created families who established lives across the United States.  Wayne was raised in Clifton New Jersey. He came to Arizona with his father and his stepmother (Kim Haus). His arrival in Arizona  began the journey that led him to the Reeves foundation.

The Reeves-fountain home became a blessed extended circle of family and friends encircling Wayne with love, fun, friendship and care. The folks at the Reeves -fountain  home shared that Wayne was “our little man” . He will be greatly missed by the staff and his housemates.

May Wayne rest under the wings of the divine presence

Wayne is survived by his two sisters:
    Wendy Haus Hanevold

    Wynne Haus Wroblesky

Fountain Home Obituary of Wayne E. Haus

Wayne was our little man of the house. He will be missed by many people. We all looked forward coming to work and be greeted by “hey sweetie or baby” every morning and then get our hugs throughout the day. We will miss his voice and hugs everyday but we will all cherish all the memories of him. There where times he would be coming out of his room and saying “bitch, bitch” not thinking we could here him. We would ask him who are you calling that to. He would always say “Sorry” and give a big smile, a hug and say I love you. Those will be missed. He loved his bologna and Diet Dr Pepper and after every meal whether he was full or not he would go to the fridge and grab a slice and eat it with a couple sips of his Diet Dr Pepper. Wayne we still have a lot of Bologna left. Hope you are getting plenty up there along with your coffee and creamer. Wayne you are and will always be loved and missed by everyone you came in contact with. We all know you are up there walking and probably running around up there causing trouble up there to saying, “it happens”. When you got picked up from your day program you would always say “Hi Baby, Hi Baby” and have a great big smile on your face. You would come home and say it’s quiet in here, it’s quite in here. We would say yes it is and then you would go to your room and put your things away and then come back out and stay in the kitchen while we where getting dinner ready for you and you would always say “smells good or mmmm that’s good”. You would always try to steal food off the counter thinking we were not looking. We would ask what you doing? You would look at us and smile. He loved his bananas and oranges. Every time we went grocery shopping he would always tell us bananas and oranges. Wayne we have plenty now and you are not here to help your housemates eat them.

Wayne you where so special to everyone and will be missed very much. Please make sure you look down over us while you are up there. Lisa, Cheryl and Jose miss you very much. You will never be forgotten around this house or in our memories. Please look after Lisa, Cheryl and Jose while you are up there and send good vibes down here to all of us. We love you and miss you along with your hugs, smile and I love you coming from you to us.
