Obituary of Ida Mae Bagshaw

Ida Barclay Bagshaw, 93, passed away on Saturday, January 21 in Gilbert, AZ. Ida was born in Mapelton, PA and was married to the late Wilbur Bagshaw. She reared a family of seven boys in McAlevys Fort, PA and after retiring as a custodian from Penn State University moved to Arizona to live with her son and daughter-in-law. Ida is survived by 4 sons, Samuel Bagshaw of McAlevys Fort, PA, Charles Bagshaw of Gilbert, AZ, William Bagshaw of Phoenix, AZ and Larry Bagshaw of Tyrone, PA, and by her sister Mildred Hoffman of Tucson, AZ. There are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Ida was a wonderful, loving mother with an outgoing personality. We will miss her wisdom, her forgiveness, and great sense of humor. In retirement she greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in McAlevys Fort, PA at 11 AM on Saturday, January 28. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida"s name can be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014. Local arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Home.
