Obituary of Daniel Lee Graville

Daniel Lee Graville Jr. departed from earth to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 8th, 2021, following a noble battle with cancer. Dan was a beloved husband, father, friend, and so much more. He will be missed. Dan Jr. was born on June 13th, 1962 in Waterloo, New York to Mary Dale Judd and Daniel Graville Sr. He graduated from the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville School of Business with a bachelor's degree in 1984, and Southern Methodist University with a Masters of Business Administration in 1992. He excelled in his craft, and was respected by all of those whom he worked with. On September 18th, 1998, Dan welcomed his firstborn son Nathan Graville into the world with Christine Graville, his first wife. On July 9th, 2000, Dan and Christine welcomed their second and final son, Mitchell Graville into the world. His boys were his everything. On February 26th, 2006, he joined hearts with his bride Patricia Graville in a commitment in holy matrimony. They shared a love like no other. Dan will be remembered for his exaggerated sense of enjoyment of just about everything. The words "best ever" were frequently used by him, and every experience was cherished. Moreover, his quick witted and sarcastic sense of humor was one unmatched. Those who knew Dan will miss this about him. The most important people in his life were his wife Patricia Graville, and sons Mitchell and Nathan Graville. He greatly enjoyed working out, watching sports, and traveling with his bride and loved ones. Dan was quite the tequila connoisseur, and a gifted writer, cook, and an amazing giver of advice. He had a fond liking for the show Modern Family, which he and his family would enjoy with hysterical laughs included, and watched it together up until his final days. He also loved listening to Christian worship music and classic rock from artists such as Eric Clapton and Marshal Tucker. Dan was nothing short of charismatic. He was a natural leader and a man whom anyone could depend on. He was all these things, yet so much more. Dan was survived by his father and stepmother, Daniel Graville Sr. and Sharon Graville; his stepfather Gib Walmsley; his wife Patricia Graville; his sister Cathy Willis; and his two boys, Nathan and Mitchell Graville May we send up prayers for Daniel's loved ones, and those who love him as well. He is with the Lord now.
