Obituary of Elinia Gloria Tautimez

Elinia "Neni" Tautimez gained her angel wings on the morning of May 10, 2021. She departed this world quietly but left a legacy that speaks volumes. Born September 22, 1923 in Tempe Arizona, the youngest of 5 children. She moved to Sonora Town in Gilbert in 1927 where she would become a cornerstone of that humble neighborhood. She married her love Faustino Tautimez in 1951, and was blessed with her daughter, Aurora in 1952. A proud member of the Guadalupanas and St Anne"s Catholic Parish, she found great peace and joy within the words and teachings of her church. She was a familiar face working for Desert Samaritan Hospital for many years. She loved to cook, to shop, to be with and take care of her grandchildren and she loved to watch her telenovelas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Faustino and her daughter, Aurora. She is survived by her five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, with the eighth due in August, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Elinia in life, loved angels. Her family knows now that she is "nuestro angel", our angel. Forever. Services for Elinia will be held on Friday May 21st at 10 AM at St Anne"s Catholic Parish located at 440 East Elliot Road in Gilbert, AZ 85234 Graveside Memorial will be held on Friday May 21st at 12 PM at Valley of the Sun, located at 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248
