So many memories with Uncle Jimmy. You were always a fun guy to be around, you were loving and funny. Such good times at Mary†™s, Chuck†™s and Emma†™s. You will be missed very much. I love you uncle Jim.
Love, Carly

Continued from Michael Togneri... I remember vividly when me and Jimmy were probably oh I don't know 7 or 8 years old we were staying at I think it was in Geneva in Tucson Arizona probably about 1954 I remember Jimmy went running out in the desert chasing the jack rabbit with a pocket knife and I can still see his head bouncing up and down as he's chasing that rabbit the second memory I have of him vividly is when I went to see him when he first came back to the states after he was wounded in combat he was in a body cast from his neck to the bottom of his feet and he described what happened to him I was young a Marine I was extremely upset. Couldn't imagine going thru what he did. No doubt he has a special place in heaven

My memories of Jimmy are mostly when we we're children we believed in Santa Claus we believed in the Easter Bunny we believed in the tooth fairy it was a child's wonderful life.. always look forward to go over to my aunt Emma's house and it seems we were always there during holidays always remember sitting around their beautiful Christmas tree and Jimmy and Michael and I would play.. I see something red I see something blue and we'd have to guess which one of the magical decorations on the tree it was, and then we'd play red light Green light and Simon says outside on the driveway. Could stay out until it got dark. And when it was ready to leave we'd always say no no please please please 15 more minutes half hour
New years eve, watch the big bands before the ball dropped, ate our Aunt Emma's chile... adults wd play cards.. those were beautiful times . Oh how things changed as we enter the sixties... Vietnam war. we all went our own way... Sadly we 3 pretty much only saw each other at weddings and funerals. I knew that Jimmy had been injured in the war but I never knew to what extent until only recent years. Jimmy and I would talk every few years to keep in touch. My brother and I were so blessed to be able to see Jimmy last year and we'll see him again in heaven one day
