Obituary of Rebecca Diane Blake

Rebecca (Becky) Diane Pell-Blake of Chandler, AZ, loving Wife and Mother, lost her valiant struggle with cancer and passed peacefully into Heaven at the age of 62 on May 16, 2020. Becky was born on March 25, 1958 in Mesa, Arizona. After receiving an honorable discharge from the US Navy, she married her husband and life partner, Mark Blake. They lived and worked in southern California. During those years, Becky held several different positions of employment throughout her working career, but, by far, the role for which she devoted her life to and was most passionate about and proud of was that of being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and homemaker. Becky and Mark attentively and lovingly raised their beloved daughter Melissa in California and then returned to Arizona to live in 2003. Becky, beloved Wife, Mother, Gram-Gram, Sister, Daughter, Niece, Aunt and Friend, will be missed tremendously by all of those whose lives and heart"s that she touched. She had an expansive caring and loving heart, was compassionate, particularly to those in need, people and animals alike, and she continually extended instinctive helpful and astute guidance for her loved ones. Her passing leaves a void beyond measure, impossible to fill. Becky is preceded in death by her Mother, three Brothers and her fur babies. She is survived by her beloved Husband, Mark Blake, Daughter, Melissa Blake, Granddaughter, Peyton Tafoya, Brother, Randy Wester, Aunt, Marie Riche, and their fur baby, Tess. Becky's immediate family will celebrate her life with a private ceremony to place her ashes in a location that was special and meaningful to her.
