Antoinette Theresa Gatlin October 4, 1971 "" February 17, 2020 The world lost a beautiful soul when our mother, sister, and friend gained her heavenly wings on February 17, 2020. If you were Antoinette"s friend, you were her family and knew her as Toine. She was ferocious about that. Everyone that met Toine was immediately embraced by her warmth and smile, and to know her was to love her. More than anything, however, Toine was a loving and devoted mother to Anferne Howard, Anayiah Howard, Ethan Gatlin, Eaan Gatlin, stepmother to Leslie Gatlin Jr., and Godmother to Erica Lofton. Toine recently became an overjoyed grandmother to Adonis Howard born shortly after her own birthday and to whom she showered with endless love and attention. Toine is survived by her brother, William Smith (Bianca), her special friend, John Croom, and a countless number of aunts, nephews, nieces, and friends. Toine is predeceased by her true love & husband, Leslie Gatlin Sr., and her parents Venora and John Smith.
