Mary Jane and I were sorority sisters at UNI. What a wonderful role model to all of us. Thank you for sharing her obituary in the Waterloo Courier.

Although we had not seen Mary Jane since she moved from Trilogy, we will always remember the many good times we had together in the neighborhood.
She was a warm and loving person who was always so proud of her children and grandchildren. She was always there to help others. She lived her faith everyday.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Mary Jane and Charlie were dear friends of my parents, Dave and Marcia Herr, so thanks them and a close relationship with Sarah, I†™ve been blessed to know Mary Jane. She was always such a sweet person to me, always complimenting me even when I knew I may not deserve the †œyou†™re so beautiful† message that day. I loved spending my holidays with her around, bc she always made me smile as well as everyone else there. I was lucky enough to have worn a beautiful dress made by MJ that I still have to this day! She was talented and so kind, she will be greatly missed. Every time I hear the name Mary or Jane, I remember those little boys calling her Mama Jane years ago. Much love to the Miller family and I†™m so grateful that they moved to AZ, so I could grow up knowing them better.
Sincerely,
Abbey (Herr) Brennan

Hi Miller family,
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. No shame, I copied Mary Jane's knack for having a servant's heart. After our weekly talks, while visiting her as a Central Christian Church Starting Point minister, I became curious why she cared so much for strangers at UMOM and CCC.
Fast forward a few years, I volunteer for CCC in the Accounting Ministry and as a 2nd Responder for a local Fire Dept. Cool beans.
Thank you Mary Jane Miller. As an Iowa gal, you helped cultivate a new crop of selfless people. Nice work!
Respectfully,
Daniel Johnson

Mary Jane was my college roommate, my bridesmaid, my dear friend during our early married years. She was my listener, my encourager and cheerleader. She was a woman of high character and a loyal friend. She will always have a place in my heart.

saddened to hear of a wonderful Az neighbor and friend. will always cherish the fun times, restaurant dinners, and she made me some of the best chicken marsala we have ever had. She and Charlie were wonderful teachers of Gods word. May she rest in God's loving arms.
