Obituary of Ted Kraft

Ted Andreas Kraft was born to Donald & Patricia Kraft on 10/9/1949 in Windom, Minnesota. He grew up on a farm with 6 brothers & sisters: Woody, Danny, Willie, Penny, Patrice and Pamela. Ted & his dad Don played music together on stage for many years.

Ted married his wife Sue in 1989. They met when Ted performed at Sue’s church in Gilbert, AZ & she asked to treat him and his band to a restaurant after a concert.

Ted and Sue had 3 Girls: Hannah (age 31), Emily (age 28) and Becky (age 22). All 3 have many musical & artistic talents from their dad.

Ted embraced life to the fullest: He was a born entertainer, comedian, talented artist (winning awards), ventriloquist, musician, magician, producer of movies & music, radio announcer on KYNO in the 70’s, a pilot, caricature artist, could play the fiddle, banjo, guitar, keyboards, steel guitar, harmonica, accordian, drums, mandolin, piano & more! His Red Skelton impersonations were legendary!

I’m sure he is entertaining in Heaven as well!

Ted never met anyone who he didn’t consider a “best friend”! He loved people, his wife and 3 girls… and he loved Jesus. He spent many summers traveling the country with his family while entertaining & spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He also entertained in churches around the country, senior homes and on the streets of Keystone in South Dakota every summer. The lives he touched can only be known by God.

In his retirement years, he started 3 different coffee clubs with all of his buddies and held music “Jam sessions” in his living room with musicians.

I can almost hear Jesus say: “Well done, thou good & faithful servant”.

Thank you to all the friends that have blessed Ted, Sue & the girls.
