Obituary of Earl Gerber Clark

Earl Gerber Clark of Gilbert, AZ, entered this life on March 24, 1931, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Harry Earl Clark and Vera Gerber Clark. Earl past into the next life September 27, 2021, in Gilbert, AZ at age 90. The funeral service will be October 12 at 10:00 am at the Western Skies Ward Chapel located at 1155 E Ray Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85296. Viewings will be October 11 th at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ 85233. Family visitation from 5-6 pm and friends from 6-8 pm. There will also be a viewing at the church October 12 th from 9:00-9:43 am before the service. Earl was preceded to the next life by his parents and siblings. He leaves behind his wife Joyce, children Connie (Paul), Larry (Nancy), Cherie (Mark), Lisa (Bear & Sadie), 18 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. He graduated Yuba City High School then attended 3 years of college at BYU before serving 2 ½ year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints in Uruguay. After returning from his mission, he served in the US Army as a member of the Military police stationed in Japan. After an honorable discharge he continued his education and graduated college from Los Angeles State College. He taught middle school in Los Angeles and then worked for Beneficial Life Insurance Company in California, Utah, Oregon and Arizona, where he retired. One passion of Earl"s was being of service to others. He was a member of the Red Cross 10-gallon blood donor club. He was an active member and leader of the Rotary Club. He served in many church callings, but his favorite was leading the music at Randolph, a special needs community. The love he extended to his family and others was a reflection of his love for Jesus Christ and his Heavenly Father. This is his testimony, "I am grateful to the Lord for His blessings. The Gospel is true! The Lord lives, He loves us. My testimony is strong!" He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all those he came in contact with.
