Obituary of Sanae Parsons

On a cold rainy afternoon in the dead of winter, Sanae Parsons, 73 was taken from us. She was having open heart surgery on January 29, 2021, when it was decided that she was no longer going to reside here on earth. It is believed her husband, James was eagerly waiting for wife so he could take her by the hand and escort her into the golden gates of Heaven. True love reunited at last. This beautiful Japanese blossom entered this world on February 22, 1947 in Fukuoka, Japan. Her proud parents were Kazuyoshi and Shika Yamamoto. Sanae"s siblings include Setsuko, Iwao, Yoichi, and Kikuko. All who survived their sister. She grew up in Japan after the Second World War. Life was full of difficulties and challenges throughout her lifetime. Losing her mom at the age of 12 and on her own at 15, she understood hardships and misfortune all too well. These challenges she was given is what made her incredibly strong and wise. While working in Yokosuka, Japan she met a Naval Security Guard who eventually became the love of her life and husband, James W. Parsons. They had their son, Eddie while there in Japan. Eventually moving to Oxnard, California were they had their daughter, Iris. Family was most important to Sanae. She carried her Japanese culture very proudly. Instilling the strong ethics and traditions of her heritage in those she loved most. She was the most generous, giving, and loving person. A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife, friend, and human being. To be touched with her existence was the greatest honor bestowed to mankind. Sanae was also funny, witty, sassy, and highly outspoken. This adorable little spitfire of a woman will be deeply missed. Sanae sadly lost her husband, James in a tragic accident in 2009.
