Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Holderbach

Ken passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at Mountain Vista Medical Center. He moved on through the gates of heaven to finally rest in the presence of Christ the night of July 19 th 2020. He was born in Fenton, Missouri, the oldest of four siblings. During his time here on Earth, Ken exemplified hard work and determination. He graduated from Fox Senior High School in 1977 and became a river guide in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Jefferson College, he then went on to pursue a long-lasting career in HVAC. Eventually, Ken achieved a lifelong goal by partnering with a close associate to open his successful HVAC company- Marken Mechanical. He is fondly remembered as being outspoken and opinionated, as well as compassionate and caring to any who met him. He never turned away anyone in need and gave to anyone that asked. He would often say, "I may not have much, but I can give what I have. to help." He was a lifelong passionate fisherman and relaxed golfer who was loved by many. We are sure he"d like to be remembered as a five-time award winning chili cook- off competitor. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Marilyn Holderbach. He is survived by his wife Cookie of 24 years and his three siblings Kathy Holderbach, Karen Atha and her husband Denzil Atha, Kevin Holderbach and his wife Rachel Holderbach. He had four daughters, Jennifer, Angel, Penny, and Sally, and his son-in-law Wade. He had several grandchildren: Mia, Kyana, Kaleb, Sabrina, Jimmy, Nola, Carlee, Preston, Corwin and Angelina. He also had two nephews, Jonathon and Josh Atha, and two nieces, Valerie and Victoria Holderbach. All are welcome to attend the Visitation on July 28, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm at Falconer Funeral Home (251 W. Juniper Ave, Gilbert, AZ).
