Obituary
Kathleen Rose, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on September 9 th , 2020 at the
age of 91. Kathleen Moore was born on March 16th, 1929 in Market
Harborough, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald
Rose, her brother, Tom, and sisters Joan and Betty. She is survived by
daughter Donna (Jim) of Bedford Hills, N.Y., daughter Lacey (Tim) of Gilbert,
Ariz., five grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicholas, Trenton(Dawn), Emily, and
Brittany(Richard), and five great-grandchildren: Estella, Amalia, Brody,
Barrett, and Jovi. Kathleen (Kay) met Donald, the love of her life, during
World War II while he was stationed in England. He brought Kathleen back to
N.Y. and they married in 1948, making a home in Bearsville, New York.
Donald, his father, and brothers built many homes in the Woodstock area
throughout their lifetime building careers. Kay enjoyed traveling to England
to visit her family, spending time on Cape Cod, and visiting her daughter in
Arizona. A celebration of her life will be private.
