The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anne Bortowski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: 5/2018 - Maria Rose
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. May Jesus words at John 5:25 bring you comfort at this time. He states there,Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live. Yes God promises that through his son you will see your love ones again!!! Until then you are in my prayers. Please visit for more comfort.

Condolence: I offer my condolences to your family.... I was lucky to enjoy Anne's company each year at the annual Sew-In. Last year fortune enough to share a table for the weekend with her. She was a ball of fun and a terrific lady.

Condolence: Only got one time to be blessed with talking and joking around and enjoying the time you (Michael), your dad and Anne and I were together in November. Had a wonderful time meeting both your parents. Anne was like another mom there. Will miss talking and cutting up, laughing along with her. Truly was blessed meeting her and hope to see her again in Heaven. And talk about bi-cycling. Right Michael? :D

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. I would never have guessed that when I met Anne in freshman homeroom in 1966 it would have become a lifetime friendship. She was a wonderful person and a great friend. We shared some great times together. So glad to have had over fifty years to call her my friend. Hugs to you all.

Condolence: Michael and Angela and extended family,
I do not have the adequate words to express how
sorry I am for Anne's passing. I loved her so much and always looked forward to her visits, especially the one Christmas when we had no electricity and 12 inches of snow! She loved Jonathan and Benjamin as a grandmother. And she loved all of you too. (I personally know how it feels to love you all). She will be missed dearly. I pray that Jesus will fill your hearts with peace.
Love you all,
